After Julien's Napoleon Service Partner certification last year, it's now Hugo's turn to attend the annual Napoleon training course.

It brings together the brand's specialists in the Benelux countries.

Let's take a look at what his day was like.

Hugo had an appointment with a Napoleon dealer in Theux, Belgium.

He was welcomed at 09:30 by Thierry, Napoleon's representative for Luxembourg. After a coffee, the training could begin.

On the programme: what's new in 2024.

Napoleon has completely redesigned its range of charcoal barbecues, including an ash catcher with more precise adjustment and a conical Vortex heat management system that improves the convection effect. The stainless steel chimney is similar to that of a kamado.

The Freestyle 425 barbecue with Sizzle Zone has evolved. Napoleon has added a door for easy access to the gas cylinder.

A wide range of accessories was also presented.


  • Planchas : 3 models of planchas have been introduced. One for the enamelled cast-iron charcoal barbecues, one for the Prestige gas barbecue range, also in enamelled cast-iron, and one with a stand to put it on your Sizzle Zone.
  • A connected wireless thermometerAvailable at the end of March, this set of thermometers works with the Napoleon Home application compatible with IOS and Android.​
  • A stainless steel pan with grill : Ideal for roasting and recovering the cooking juices to baste the meat or prepare a delicious sauce.
  • A blue cast-iron casserole dish : Simmering your dishes in a cast-iron casserole dish is guaranteed to keep them incomparably tender.
  • A salt stone : Cook your food in an original way with a salt stone. It will give a subtle flavour to your dishes.

Grilled on plancha, on the Sizzle Zone or on charcoal barbecues, all the techniques used to prepare the meal have been tried and tested.
