At Feier a Flam we are proud to present our new Fuego branded products by Smokey Olive Wood. This includes smoking chips, smoking chips and pieces of wood, which make grilling an extraordinary taste experience with their unique aroma.

The Smokey Olive Wood brand remains as the main brand, but sells its new products mainly to Germany under the Fuego name.

What exactly is Fuego?

Fuego is a manufacturer of products made of several types of wood for the grill and cooking area. They offer a wide range of products including wood chips, smoking chips and numerous other products.

The wood is obtained from ecologically sustainable sources in Spain and is subject to strict quality controls. It has a high calorific value and imparts a unique smoky aroma to meals.

Types of wood

Smokey Olivewood resp. Fuego use root wood from the olive trees cut down in the plantations to create smoked products such as chunks, chips and smoked flour. Other types of wood such as holm oak, almond trees and citrus trees are also used. Holm oak wood is traditionally used for smoking game, beef and pork. Almond wood has a longer burning time and is well suited for smoking beef, game and fish. Citrus wood is usually destroyed, but is used to smoke fish, pork, and poultry when soaked in water or lager because it gives off a fruity flavor. Fuego only uses the wood that is cut down specifically for production, thereby ensuring the ecological use of the waste.

Sustainability
